Girls Night Out!

Beales’ ‘Girls Night Out’ is a glamorous fashion event that takes place at the flagship Bournemouth store. The catwalk runway will feature latest trends from brands such as Damsel in Distress and Fenn Wright Manson, plus there will be bubbly, canapes, make-up tips, makeovers, massages, manicures and more. All guests will receive a goody bag and up to 20 per cent off selected purchases on the evening.

Pause Café’s new Spring/Summer 2011 collection has arrived at Zimara in Lymington. Isabelle Walker, owner of Zimara, describes the new collection as being wonderfully colourful with lots of personality, but very wearable.

The new collection includes great separates that can be dressed up for an occasion or worn casually, and dresses that come both with and without sleeves; “People want dresses with sleeves,” Isabelle explains, “and they’re hard to come by”. Pause Café is also available in sizes eight to 20 plus, and in easy-to-care-for fabrics,

New shop – old styles

One White Dress is Westbourne’s only vintage and designer bridal and occasion wear agency. It specialises in original vintage wedding dresses from the 1920s through to the 1970s, as well as ex-sample and once worn designer gowns. Beautiful gowns, priced from £300 to £2500, are available from designers such as Vera Wang, Jenny Packham and Caroline Castigliano.

There’s also a good selection of occasion wear for the mother of the bride with elegant outfits from designers such as John Charles, Frank Usher
and Condici, typically half price or less.
